Hey I just saw your message on my other channel. An 8-Track Tape / Cartridge is a format that was introduced back in the 1960s. They had players to put the cartridge in to play music in the car. Then regular 8-Track players for houses came later. It was popular mostly in the 1960s / 70s. People that released music on the 8-Track tapes quit releasing them on the format in the 1980s, I hope that helps. :)
